Hello.
The symptom of hearing a whizzing sound in ears is called as tinnitus. Tinnitus has a number of causes. Some
of the causes are ear infection, tumor (acoustic neuroma), ear wax, certain drugs, multiple sclerosis, head
injury, panic attacks and some metabolic diseases.
Meniere's disease is a condition which involves tinnitus and the feeling of fullness in the ears. The
vestibular apparatus in the inner ear normally is filled with fluid. In Meniere's disease, the pressure
of the fluid increases giving rise to the fullness and tinnitus. I would suggest you consult your ENT surgeon
and get this particular condition ruled out.
Ear wax is usually a very common cause of tinnitus and fullness. If your ears are full with wax, they can be
cleaned by a procedure called as syringing.
