sores in nose, one will go away and another will come up on oterside , all inside my nose.

	i Have had sores in my nose for about 3 months now. I had strep that came out on my skin and went through antibiotics and prednizone, the sores go away and come back in other parts of my nose. makes my nose hurt and crusty

	Answer by Dr.Bhumika Aggarwal (doctor) on Sun 27, Jul 2008 08:49pm: Hi, It is clear that you have some kind of infection in the nose. It is alos clear that there is incomplete treatment in the past. I am not too sure why prednisone was prescribed to you in case of an infection. I am not too sure if there is some other diagnosis which your doctor may have reached based on his interview and examination. I also would like to recommend use of glycerine to prevent the drying up of the crusts which may be leading to the scabs coming off earlier than the sores can heal. please let us know the diagnosis which your doctor gave earlier when he prescribed antibiotics and prednisone to you to help us help you better.
