pregnancy = what happens if your pregnant in your tubes?

	if you should happen to get pregnant in your tubes will a ept come back as positive? i have been sick for 2 weeks now and have taken 2 ept's and they both said no so i was wondering about a tubal pregnancy thank you

	Answer by Dr.Bhumika Aggarwal (doctor) on Wed 06, Aug 2008 11:34am: Hi, Tubal pregnancy is a type of Ectopic pregnancy where the fertilized ovum gets implanted at a site other than the uterus, in this case the fallopian Tubes. This is considered a complication of pregnancy. Contrary to your belief, a tubal pregnancy would also appear as positive on a Pregnancy test such as that highlighted here by you. Therefore, it is best that you start by investigating when you had the last menstrual cycle to give you an idea of your pregnancy status. Further, I think you should may post more information about your health, as you pointed out that you already have been unwell for 2 weeks. This will assist us in helping you better.
