	I have a daughter who is 15 years old and is having severe pains in lower abdomnine. Pain is usually in morning or after eating something greasy or fatty.

	Answer by Dr Bobby V, MD (doctor) on Tue 10, Jun 2008 12:45pm: Hi, Your daughter has been having lower abdominal pain, more in the morning, and after fatty food. There are many possibilities to consider here, like pancreatitis, gall bladder inflammation, inability to digest high fat food, urinary infection etc. She has also had some irregularity in her periods, so the possibility of a pelvic infection or endometriosis needs to be ruled out. She should consult an internist for clinical examination and appropriate investigations. All the very best!
