occasional numbness in right thigh

	i currently take an aspirin each day per doc's instructions as i recently had brain mri & echocardiogram per had stroke like symtoms (left hand and left jaw momentarily numb). i have 40% blockage of my carotid arteries on left and right side. i have numbness in my right leg, no pain or tingling, just numbness after standing and putting weight on the leg for only a few minutes. doesn't happen in left leg. i am a runner but have no recent injuries

Blockage of arteries can be due to atherosclerosis in the arteries, not just in carotid but peripheral arteries can also be affected by the same. Numbness in the legs after continuous sitting or standing can occur due to inadequate blood supply on staying in same position for longer periods of time. I would suggest that you get a lipid profile and visit a physician for further assistance in treatment for atherosclerosis. Best.
