my cycle

	Asked by Unregistered 033; i have had four c-sections,my last c-section was may 21,2007,i also had a tubaligatoin at that time.; Relevant drugs:i twas taking hematinic-vitamin-mineral tcyp,for my iron ) on Tue 20, Jan 2009 11:42am :
	after my last c-cetion,and tubaligation,my cycle was very heavy,with blood clots,then it got normal,but on january 7,2009,my cycle came on lite for about 4 days,then turned brownish,went off for overnight,came back on.it be really light red,pinkish,and it all so still be brown,like it it about to go off,but it is still on.and today is january20,2009.what do that mean?

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Thu 22, Jan 2009 10:51am: Hello, There are numerous reasons for having such kind of irregular periods.High level of stress, cholesterol, hormonal imbalance, chain smoking, dramatic changes in your life style may be some of the common causes of you irregular periods. Another important and frequent cause of irregular periods are PCOS and fibroid uterus. If this was the first episode of irregularity in the periods, then wait for the coming cycle and try lifestyle modification by reducing stress and decreasing cholesterol levels. But if the repeat happens, then pls consult a gynecologist and get yourself thoroughly examined Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
