Hair loss

	I am 37 and have hair loss it has thined quite alot. Can i take anything to help hair growth and help strenthen hair folicles. To help my hair grow back and thicken please.

	Answer by Dr Vinod, MBBS,FcGP (doctor) on Tue 15, Dec 2009 04:21am: Hello tnewton, I would suggest you to apply some minoxidil topical liquid 2% or 5% after getting yourself examined by a dermatologist. Hair fall is connected to healthy diet, stress, type of water used to shower, hereditary history, cosmetics and shampoos used and the care and maintenance required in some types of hair. Discuss in detail with your dermatologist and arrest hair loss. Take care!
