	I missed three birth control pills in a row about midway through my 28 pack, I didn't take any extras and finished the rest of the pack. When I should have gotten my period I only had a little spotting for a day and a half, which has never happened before. I haven't taken any pills since in case I am pregnant. I took a pregnancy test a week after spotting and it was negative, now it has been another almost two weeks, if I take a test now should it be correct and what are the chances I may be pregnant? I am 25, I was on depoprovera for 4 years, then on no birth control for 8 months and since have been on aless for 9 months.

	Answer by Dr. Harsh Abbott (doctor) on Fri 13, Nov 2009 08:05pm: Hi, it may be possible that you are pregnant and to confirm it I suggest you to do your urine pregnancy test 2 weeks after your last expected date of periods followed by trans vaginal ultrasound to confirm it. If it is negative then there can be many reasons like stress, hormonal imbalance etc. for which you need to consult your gynecologist. Thanks.
