	Hi my name is Claudia, I'm 23 yrs old, and my question is can I not be pregnant even if the pregnancy test was positive? I haven't miss my period yet, Im xpecting it by Jan 11th, but I took a pregnancy test and it was positive, but Im cramping alot...its that also normal?

	Answer by Dr. Harsh Abbott (doctor) on Sat 09, Jan 2010 09:28am: Hi, if your urine pregnancy test (which detects human chorionic gonadotropin hormone), is positive it is very much likely that you may be pregnant and your cramping may be due to implantation of fertilized egg to uterus wall. However to confirm it I suggest you to wait till your periods and in case they are delayed then repeat urine pregnancy test and ultrasound abdomen and with results consult your gynecologist. Thanks.
