husbands testicle has been hurting, last night he found a bump on it, is it cancer?

My husband's testicle had been hurting off and on for a month or so. Last night, he found a lump/bump on the testicle, not the sack. Could it be a calcium deposit or is it cancer. He's so young.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. A painful testicular lump is usually not cancer. Some of the causes that need to exclude are testicular injury, orchitis or testicular infection, testicular torsion, spermatocoele, epidymitis and varicocoele. All these are benign cause which can be easily treated. This requires a clinical evaluation. Please consult his physician about it. Take care!
