has the deprovera shot ever been proven to cause seizures?

I started receiving the deprovera shot 3 months ago due to not being able to take oral birth control. Since I started receiving the shot I have been having seizures. Is there any connection between the two? I have never had seizures before. Has the deprovera shot ever been proven to cause seizures? My doctor put me on the shot because I started vomiting every time I ate after I switched oral birth controls. I was taking Notrell 777 and switched to Ortho Tri-Cyclan, due to it being cheaper. I didn't have a problem with the Notrell 777. My problems with vomitting began with the Ortho. Then the seizures started occurring when I switched to the Deprovera shot. Should I go back to the Notrell 777? Before I had my daughter I never had problems with birth control. I'm going insane and I feel like no one is listening to me. I have an appointment to see a neurologist next week. These issues have become a daily hassle. I need help!
