	dear doctor: I have a growth on the inside of my right ankle, towards the back of my leg. Its size is apx 2 x 2" and is very sensitive to bumping. It is dark red in color and has been slowly growing in size ove the past 3 years The surgeon that I have lined up to bi-op it just wants a piece of it and that's what worries me. It is very uniform and rubber like around the edges. I told him I would like it removed since it is growing but he says he may have to do skin graphs. Could it bust and spread throughout my system if cut on?

After the report of biopsy if it is a cancer then the whole part will be excised or chemotherapy will be adopted. Most commonly it might be a tendonitis, any benign condition, broken bone, infection etc. Proper diagnosis and treatment is required. Take care!
