could having your corotid artery stapled to a nerve cause your heart to stop beating?

	could having your corotid artery stapled to a nerve cause your heart to stop beating? i never had any heart problems before, i had cancer surgery in oct of 2004, and my heart stopped beating in nov 2004, i had more cancer surgery in dec 2004, and the doctor found when i had the lymph nodes removed under my left arm the corotid artery was stapled to a nerve. and when i turned my head to the left my heart would stop beating which resulted in a pacemaker and 4 heart attacks. they find nothing at all wrong with my heart. i was just wondering if the damage from the lymphnode surgery could have left damage that would cause all of this

Any complication in your carotid artery will give rise to local symptoms like flushing of your head area and severe complications in your brain due to lack of blood supply from your carotid artery. Your lymph node surgery might have caused some damage locally of the nerve or artery but it is not related to heart to stop beating. Take care!
