How can you tell if your puppy is dehydrated.I know in a human you pinch the skin and if it tents.....then dehydation. Also sunk in looking eyes. I am just not sure about puppies. Mine are a week old and have already gained a few ounces.......but what if the mom's milk runs out. How would I know....just a continous crying?? My vet said she didn't feel my dog had enough milk but did give her a shot to help with her milk let down. I feel it worked due too the puppies are gaining weight. I do weigh them daily. thanks CM
