Pain in wrists , knees, feet and fingers when i wake up

	The last 3 days I have woken up in severe pain in my wrists fingers, knees and feet. It hurts to walk and the pain in my wrists are so bad that when i try to use them pain shoots up my arm. any idea what might be wrong with me?

	Answer by Dr.Rohit Agarwal (doctor) on Fri 28, Aug 2009 10:49am: Hello, The location of pain is in small and large joints and in morning. Do they swell too? You might have arthritis. You have to go through certain test to confirm it like Hb, TLc, DLc, ESR, Rheumatoid factor, blood uric acid, Xrays. You can take nonsteroid anti inflammatory medicine like diclofenac sodium for now, until reports comes in. Other possibility many be muscular pathology. You can get blood CPK levels to confirm the muscle involvement. Then consult your physician. Take care.
