I have had deafness for 35 years. For the past several years I've suffered from many noises inside my head. In Feb 08
I underwent Cochlear Implant surgery. I, of course, hoped all along that the implant might solve the noise problem. Well,
it didn't. Made a slight difference in variety but increased volumn of noises. I'm again meeting with my surgeon
later this month; however, no one has been able to tell me where these noises originate from, especially radio announcers,
singers and music. I'm a male 78 years old, and declared sane.
