Answer by Dr Paul S, MD (doctor) on Tue 22, Jul 2008 11:39pm:

Hi there. Your body is equipped with defenses that would actually prevent this from happening. The secretions inside the nose and sinuses contain enzymes and other chemicals that will surely kill any insect or bug that comes into contact with them. This mechanism would ensure that the nasal passages and sinuses are rid of these insects if ever they found their way into one of these chambers. If you have persistent symptoms such as nasal obstruction and sinusitis, it is best that you have this looked at by an ENT doctor. Regards and God bless.
