Answer by Dr Noopur S, MD (doctor) on Sat 19, Jul 2008 05:25am:

Hi, How are you? Yes loss of a part of lung will result in reduced ability to perform physical activity as loss of lung would mean a decreased lung volume and reduced oxygen perfusion of vital organs like heart and skeletal muscles. Hope this answers your questions!
