	Answer by Dr.Rohit Agarwal (doctor) on Tue 11, Aug 2009 08:14pm: Dear, Generally, corticosteroids don’t cause low hemoglobin but associated disease for which they are take are serious and auto immune in nature can cause low hemoglobin. Some underlying infection (viral) may flare up to lower hemoglobin. Consult your physician. Take care.
