    Hi, consanguity is known to cause a spectrum of problems . This is because there will be HLA sharing if you are blood relatives. Auto-immune factors come into play. The anamolies could be from major like neural tube defects, down’s syndrome to minimal or no effects. Consult a genetic counsellor before taking a decision. Take care.
