hi my name is donna im 25 year old for the past 5 year i have only had 2 periods
one tw months ago and one 1 the now i been bleeding really heavy been put on
medicin to stop it a few days ago but im stil bleeding i also suffer from urin
infections every months been seen bye a doctor and they cant be sure i dont have
one now because there is blood and proten in my urin but because im on a period
they cant tell they sent one to the lab to be sure.l have also had a kiddny
infection and was in hospitil for 10 days any advise in wat you think i would be
gratfull?

    Hi Donna, you may be suffering from DUB (Dysfunctional uterine bleeding) as earlier you had missed your periods for long time and now there is non stop heavy bleeding. There can be many causes to it like stress, intenese exercises, fibroids, endometriosis etc. but in your case it may be hormonal imbalance most likely. Regarding urine infection the cause and location has to be known to know what treatment would suit the best, it may be in bladder, kidneys and due to localised infection or kidney stones. I suggest you to do your ultrasound, hormonal profile and urine culture and consult your physician for these possibilities. Thanks.
