Hi there.
This rash in the genital area can have several explanations.
The most common of such is called tinea cruris, which is a fungal infection of the skin in this area
presenting as an itchy and spreading rash. This area is most prone to infections like this due to the
semi-damp nature of this region. Anti-fungal creams or medications as described by your doctors would be the
treatment.
Another possibility is external infestation of small insects such as crab louse. The bites resulting from
this infestation can cause this type of rash and this can be removed by topical treatments as well.
I suggest you have this checked by your doctor so as to narrow down the exact cause. Once diagnosed,
appropriate treatment can be given.
Regards.
