ovarian cancer - Severe gas and bloating and also abdominal swelling.

	I have severe gas and bloating, also abdominal swelling. I have pain in my left side which radiates down my leg. I have difficulty breathing . I am worried about this being symptoms of ovarian cancer. I have had ultrasound about 2 years ago. I also had a colonscopy within the last year. I did take fertility meds about 15 years ago

	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Mon 06, Jul 2009 04:23am: Hello, Ovarian cancer can present with such symptoms but it is one possibility.Since you are having pain radiating down the leg,so I would suggest a physician’s evaluation to rule out any kidney pathology also. A complete blood count (CBC), serum electrolyte test,ultrasound uterus and tumor markers need to be done to confirm the diagnosis. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
