muscle pulled in arm

	I was picking up a large heavy box and I pulled a muscle in my biecps and it hurts when I move it in certain directions. I have taken pain pills (Excedrin) but it is not helping. It has been about 7 hours since it has happen. What can I do?

	Answer by Dr.Rohit Agarwal (doctor) on Thu 20, Aug 2009 09:17am: Dear, You have sprain, muscle or tendon injury due to heavy weight lifting. Take pain killer like ibuprofen or diclofenac sodium. Give rest to arms. If required immobilize the arms using arm support. Take care.
