lung noises - crackling sounds while laying down

I have developed a lung infection of sorts, I have a lot of crackling sounds while laying down- I have been diagnosed prior with asthma and take daily meds but this seems over and above--the noise while laying down, the crackling is my concern-HELP

Dear, It could be alveolitis (inflamation of alveoles) or subcutaneous emphysema (collection of air under skin). Consult your chest physician. Take care
