liver ( cluster of veins going into liver)

16 years ago I had an ultra sound for gall bladder at that time I was told that they saw a cluster of veins going into the liver and that wasnt good when I brought it up to the surgeon he said dont let them operate on it and that was that I do not know what it is called and would like to do some research on what this is could you explain or tell me what this is called

Hi, Thanks for writing in. From your post it seems that you have liver hemangioma which is a non cancerous tumor of the liver composed of dilated blood vessels. They are the most common benign tumors of liver and usually cause no symptoms and require no treatment.
