Hi, It would have helped if you had mentioned your age, past medical history and whether you are on any medications. This could be due to several causes - it could be due to implantation bleeding secondary to pregnancy if you are sexually active - a urine pregnancy test and a blood test for beta HCG levels would help confirm or rule this out, hormonal changes etc. Or it could be due to vaginal infection, and in some cases this could mean a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. The only way to know the confirmed cause is a clinical examination by an OBG specialist and an ultrasound examination. It would be best to consult your doctor without any delay. Regards.
