Hi
Welcome to the AMD forum!
Well the two most common cause of inter menstrual spotting are ruled out in your case—pregnancy and birth
control pills. Other causes are hypothyroidism, cervical dysplasia, cervical polyps, cervicitis
(infection/inflammation of cervix), vaginitis (infection/inflammation of vagina), cervical and uterine cancer,
uterine fibroids, hormonal imbalance as in polycystic disease of the ovary, use of blood thinners, genital
ulcers, STDs and stress.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist as tthese causes can affect chances of
becoming pregnant. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is
required keeping all the points in mind. Take care!
