	hi im worried that i may have genital herpes. for about 2-3 days now my vagina has been very swollen and a little uncomfortable i have not properly looked until today and it is quite red i also have a small kind of spot but it is more like a bulge in the skin this is also sore if i rub it. i dont know if that is just the texture of the skin and im being paranoid. i have been having sex more recently but we always use protection. also roughly when the uncomftorble feeling started(3 days ago)i had just waxed for the first time so i wondered if that could have caused irratation or if it was just coincidence. however i on wax the top of my pubic hair not the hair close to my vagina. please can you give me some advise?

Promiscuous lifestyle and unprotected sexual intercourse gives rise to Sexually transmitted diseases like Herpes and you should take all precautions to avoid these. Take some antihistamines and if that does not help visit a dermatologist for a proper examination and diagnosis. Take care!
