I recently had a bad dose of flu - two weeks ago - took anti biotics - feelbetter but still have a dripping nose which results in coughing etc. - is thissinusitis now - how can I get over it ?

I recently had a bad dose of flu - two weeks ago - took anti biotics - feel better but still have a dripping nose which results in coughing etc. - is this sinusitis now or something else - how can I get over it ?

Hi, sometimes it is possible that seasonal flu or common cold may take more than 2 weeks despite treatment (usually 2-4 weeks). This may depend on many factors like climate and seasonal changes, age, comorbid conditions like diabetes, immune status etc. I suggest you to do your blood count, X-ray para nasal sinuses and continue anti histamines, plenty of fluids and vitamin C and consult your physician.
