Hi, MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus) present usually as boils, abscess or cellulitis. This
could be a boil or an abscess. But you should visit a GP for a physical examination and a confirmed diagnosis.
Treatment includes oral antibiotic course and topical application. To prevent further spread and reoccurrence,
you should follow measures like using antiseptic soap (chlorhexidine), frequent hand washing, use of gloves
when touching the infected area and frequent change of clothing. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
