My son keeps being sick

Asked by lozylou11 (Male; UNITED KINGDOM; Hernia operation ) on Sun 27, Feb 2011 10:17am

My 2 1/2 year old son keeps being sick.. ive had this occur before and it lasted just over 5 months i went to the doctors a few times before being referred to the hospital but at the time of the appt he had stopped being sick.. he is aware of when he is going to be sick he screams loud and then he pukes up. The doctors reckon his isn't allergic to anything. I have not taken him to the doctors as i know what will happen they will just send me home saying it will fade eventually this occasion he is being sick more then once a day when in his last occasion it was just at night. am i doing something wrong??? i dont know what to do as my 1 year old son is well and is not being sick. ive recently dealt with a gas leak could this be why the sickness has came back what do i do ???

Dr Harkiran Kaur Sandhu : Thanks for replying to my query .. He is sick atleast twice a day. hes losing loads of weight his ribs and coller bones are sticking out people are starting to mention about this when handling him. it is the second time that this has happened with no definition. we've been to the childrens hospital where he was seen by a doctor, but at that time he seems to of cleared but is causing the vomitting. he is eating well sometimes chucks his food away.. he is always looking pale and not with it. once he has been sick he seems to be his normal self. hes been sick for over 3 weeks now every day. im speaking to my local gp to force some kind of action as it went on for 5 months last time and i cant stand to see the pain he is going through. he screams and to be honest it is quiet horrific to see my 2 year old son reacting this way. im feeling like i cant go anywhere because i am scared that he will be sick outside of the house. is it worth asking for scans and blood tests to be done. Also his nappies are always full and he seems to have varied bowel movements.
