	I am a 25 year old female and i have a 2 and a half year old son. I took the morning after pill on the 2nd of december. My period was due to start on the 5th of december and came on the 6th. On the 5th i started getting pains in my stomach when i urinated and my urine started to smell very odd,quite sweet and like nothing ive ever smelt before. I have stopped having pain when i urinate but now i have this constant discomfort on the right side of my stomach and my urine doesnt always smell but it does sometimes. Although my period did come its been much lighter than usual

	Answer by Dr JS Anand (doctor) on Sat 12, Dec 2009 03:58am: Hi, Since your periods have come, the chances of pregnancy seem minimal. However, I’ll suggest getting urine for pregnancy test done to rule out a miscarriage. An abdominal ultrasound can also be done to look for the cause of pain abdomen. It can be due a renal stone/gall bladder stone. Please also get your urine also examined. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
