Hi. Diabetes can donate blood. The donor’s blood might have high blood sugar whereas the receiver who do not have diabetes can able to produce sufficient amount of insulin and bring down the blood sugar levels. During storage the sugar in the blood gets oxidize and the level comes down. Diabetes is not a communicable disease. Hence Diabetics can donate blood.
