	i had an anti d injection prior to my last pregnancy.does this injection last for life or do i need another as im pregnant again after 14 years

	Answer by Dr. Sandeep (doctor) on Fri 31, Jul 2009 06:59pm: Hi there. I understand your concern. You definitely require second dose of anti-D vaccine in your second pregnancy. It doesn’t matter the gap between first pregnancy & the second. The viability of anti-D injection is temporary only as they are prepared immunoglobulin’s. You have to take again in 28 & 34 weeks of pregnancy. Hope my advice useful to you. Take care.
