Hi there.
If you are aware of what is happening with your surroundings during these episodes, then it is rather unlikely
that you are having seizures. However, severe hypoglycemia can indeed cause seizures characterized as jerking
body movement, upward rolling of eyeballs, and being unaware of what is happening around you.
One more important question to ask is what is causing this hypoglycemia? A possibility is that you may have
an insulin secreting neoplasm or tumor somewhere in your pancreas that unnecessarily secreting insulin,
thereby causing unpredictable drops in blood sugar levels.
I suggest you talk to your doctors regarding this possibility and have work up for such condition. YOu may
undergo imaging studies such as MRI or ultrasound to look for these conditions.
Regards.
