Hi,
Bowel movments once in three days to thrice in one day are considered as normal based on a thumb rule.
However, this is variable and needs further depth of examination as in your childs case.
Is the child comfortable? Is there any discomfort or pain, cramps, vomiting or burps, nausea? Has she taken
food/water in the regular fashion in these days?
Is she passing urine?
I think the child will need to be examined as to the cause of this. Mostly this is due to constipation and
will be relieved soon. However, it is best that the child is examined in case this is not the first instance
of such an event.
