fluttering feeling under my rib cage

Asked by daresq (Female; 28; UNITED STATES; Slight asthma, Over all Good general health ) on Thu 13, May 2010 07:00am

Hello, I am a 28 year old female who works out daily and eats pretty healthy. But recently have noticed a fluttering feeling under my rib cage in the center. It is very annoying. It feels like a pulsation or muscle spasm . It comes and goes. There is no pain or any other symptom. It has been going on for three or four weeks now. Have you heard of anything similar to this before..? Thank you.

Hi, How are you? Are there other symptoms present? This could be due to musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal or pulmonary causes. If it persists, have this checked by your doctor for proper evalaution and to rule out cardiac causes. Take care and do keep us posted.
