To be able to diagnose cancer, several diagnostic tests needs to be done. Are there symptoms present? You have
to discuss this with your doctor and clarify about the fat in the lungs. It is normal to have some fat in the
liver. If found to be excessive, this may lead to inflammation of the liver. If the stomach is not well
distended, the wall collapses and appears thickened. However, in a few cases, the wall thickening is a true
abnormality and may be attributed to tumors of either the inner lining, infection, and gastrinoma. Further
evaluation may need to be done to rule out other differentials.
