	i have a growth on my inner thigh.my brother said it is probably a cyst? it is sore. what should i do about it?

	Answer by Dr Rakesh C, MD (doctor) on Tue 06, May 2008 04:10am: Hi What kind of growth is it? What is its size? Is it tender (painful) to touch? What is the consistency and colour? Does it reduce after applying pressure? Is the skin over it normal? It is not possible to arrive at a diagnosis without having a proper look and feel of the growth. This may be a cyst, a lipoma, or a a fibroma etc. Please get in touch with the surgeon to ascertain the absolute diagnosis, and the treatment would be based on the ame thereafter. Best..
