Soreness behind cervix durring sex left side of abdomoin possibly originating from rectum

	For a while I have been experiencing pain in my lower abdomin, originating (I think) from having sex with my boyfriend. In certain possitions his penis pushes into what I believe to be my rectum durring vaginal intercourse, causing pain. I am not sure if his penis repeatedly colliding with whatever is behind my vaginal wall is causing the soreness but it most often happens after sex. I investigated myself and found that it seems to be the part of my insides behind my cervix towards the back left of my abdomin. At first it felt like a sore lump when I felt around for it against my vaginal walls then after having a bowel movement and checking again it was no longer a lump. This makes me believe that what I am feeling is wherever feces are stored before passing. The area was still sore but not as easily felt when empty. Could the soreness just be caused by hard intercourse or is it possible that there is something more serious?

But the pain may be due to inflammation, injury to vaginal wall or dryness of vagina or pelvic inflammatory disease. Intercourse can stimulate pain from organs around, like inflammation of urinary bladder, colon etc. Consult your gynecologist for examination. Take care.
