i was disgnosed with sleep apnea in 2/05 and used a s7 for 8 month and hypertension in 2004 and took diovan 80mg until 2007. i am five days into restartin diovanHCT 80mg. i find it difficult to focus and remember things. for example: Friday i was helping a customer with printer connections and was to contact facilities to replace the furniture in its position. by the time i got to my desk i totally forgot what i was suppose to do. before that, i told a very important test and was not able to finish because i could not maintain focus. am i experience shortterm memory lost?

Short term memory loss could be due to depression, dementia, aging, stroke, head injury, alcoholism, or due to side effects of certain drugs. I would suggest that you get a CT scan brain done to see what is the cause and visit a neurologiost.
