Probably an issue with dermatology or sexually transmitted infections/ diseases

	I m a sexually active 17 year old male. I have some kind of pimples on the skin of my penis (not the head or scrotum). It does not look serious, only like regular acne. They do not bother me at all (no itching, bleeding, gushing ect.) basically nothing at all except that they're there. I'm a bit worried since i'm not sure if they're just heat pimples or something. I've been doing research on genital warts and herpes but i doubt it is either. I just want some professional opinions on it. Thanks

	Answer by Dr.Rohit Agarwal (doctor) on Mon 17, Aug 2009 11:23am: Hello, they could be simple sebacious glands that protrude more than regular pores (Fordyce's spots) or hair follicles or it could be sexually transmitted infection like lymphogranuloma venerum, granuloma venerum. Consult you dermatologist. Take care.
