Liver problems, black stool, alchohol consumption, no drugs, eating healthy but feeling quite stuffed after a meal

I have been involved with a drinking problem for about a year now. Average about a pint a day. And I have noticed my stool is almost black these last few weeks. Diet hasn't changed, no new foods and movements are consistant. Do I need to worry about my liver yet?
