Hyperpigmented Scars - Dark skin and hyper pigmented scars on legs and arms

	I am a young african american with dark skin and i have hyperpigmented scars on my legs and arms that are about 8 yrs old and they are from a case of chicken pox. Dermatologist have said they were going to go away a couple years of go but they havnt. How can i reduce the apperance of them quickly? p.s yes i am willing to undergo surgery

	Answer by Dr Bobby V, MD (doctor) on Sun 16, Mar 2008 08:32am: Hi, For improving the cosmetic appearance of your old healed chickenpox scars, you may consult a dermatologist again. In my opinion, surgery will not be required. Results of conservative treatment tend to be mixed. Usually, such lesions tend to fade as time goes by, and many of these eventually disappear completely.

I get pulsating in my thigh. My neck is very painful and my shoulders. If exrays came back degenerative do you think this is normal to everyone (I am 36) or do you think they should do a mri (which is what they want to do since I have numbness. How is doing a neck mri detect any issues? And what about the leg issues. Do you think I am wasting my money by doing the mri or is this just fibromyalgia. thanks for any help I am so desperate for any anwers. I really think I have MS
