High fever, sore throat, burning eyes - Treatment suggested

	My 7-year-old daughter has a fever of 103.9, and she's complaining of severe sore throat, headache, and burning eyes. What should I do?

	Answer by Dr.Rohit Agarwal (doctor) on Wed 12, Aug 2009 09:33am: Dear, She might have influenza. Give her paracetamol 250 mg thrice a day, amoxicillin 250 mg thrice a day for 5-7 days, lot of water to drink, hot beverages. if fever is more than 102 F then add tap water body sponging for 15 minutes too Take care.
