Head Ache for a few days after possibly hitting my head? No blackout, no other symptoms.

Hello, I was on a boat the other day, tubing on a lake, and I flipped off the tube, and I think I hit my head with my own fist as I fell off. I don't think I blacked out, because I came to the surface and got back up on the tube fine, and didn't really notice any problem until I got back on the boat. Then I got a head ache in the area where I think I may have hit my head. (I didn't realize that I hit my head when I fell off, I just figured that is what happened because of the headache I got afterward once I was on the boat again). That was two days ago now, and I still have a headache on and off. I forget about it when I am busy, but when I slow down I realize it is still there. It is in a localized spot on the left side of my head towards the top. I am wondering if it is necessary to see a doctor about this, or if I should just wait a few more days and see if it goes away. If I do need to see a doctor, what can I expect? What are common recommendations doctors would give/tests they may want to do? I haven't really taken any pain medicine for it, (only on the first night), and I haven't had any other symptoms (no dizziness or double vision or anything). Thank you.
