For the last 2 weeks,my lower back feels like someone is pushing against it.I'm a welder and do alot of heavey lifting, but i do use my legs as much as posible, and i'm bent over alot and in akward positions. It's been getting worse. The other day i had to roll out of bed on my hands & knees just so that i get up. I'm 42 years old, 5'-8" tall and weigh 150 lbs. After i'm up & around the pain lessons some but still there (dull), but if i sit for awhile it hurts to stand up straight, and after i get home from work it hurts to get out of the car.

Lower back pain could be due to many reasons like muscle sprain, slipped disc, injury to the spine etc. You need to see a neurologist for further confirmation nad assistance on treatment for this. Best.
