Experiencing heart flutters, dizziness, and vision impairment

This morning I experienced a moderate headache with some nausea. Then I began experiencing impaired vision where it started with two small dots in the middle of my vision. Within the matter of a few minutes, these dots became smears- similar to when you are driving and see what appears to be "water" on the road- and this was throughout my vision. Then it became large waves affecting my entire vision, then was "pinwheels", and then as I stood, I felt like I was going to pass out and almost did so. I sat with my head down and the nausea returned. My vision was very distorted and I could not see anything clearly. My hands began shaking as I tried to take a drink. I began having a panic attack as I was scared that I wasn't able to see. I took 1/2 a nerve pill and that seemed to help. I started eating some lunch, and with time, began feeling better, however felt very flighty and out of sorts. About 6 hours later as I was standing in line to get my food, I began to feel nausious again as though I was going to get sick if I didn't eat. I ate quickly. The same feelings of nausea, light headedness returned along with a new sensation- like I was on a roller coaster where your stomach "drops". A friend of mine was with me, a pharmacist, and she took my pulse- it was 94. When I got home, I went straight to bed. I am now wide awake with heart burn/indigestion, seem to be parched, and feel as though my heart is racing. Any ideas what I may be experiencing? The last few weeks I have been on the move and traveling a bit, haven't been getting as much sleep as I probably should, as well as have been overly hungry/thirsty lately.
