Could mom be having a stroke??????

mother is 67 yo. Slurred speach, numbness right arm, forgetting things, dizziness. Started last night. Could it be a stroke? Thank you

Hi, Thanks for writing in. Yes there is a possibility that your mother is having a stroke since she has classical symptoms of stroke like slurred speech, one sided numbness, dizziness and memory loss. I would suggest you to rush her to the emergency as she needs to undergo further evaluation and neurological exam. Meanwhile lease make sure that she does not exert herself and takes complete rest. Do keep us informed on how she is doing. Take care!
